Cricket Enrichment Day
We were delighted to welcome Ian and Bradley from Essex Cricket in the Community into school today to offer coaching sessions to several classes in KS2. The children had an amazing day, as you can see from the photos, and were full of enthusiasm for the chance to take part.
We were just as delighted to receive this email at the end of the day, thank you Essex Cricket, we would be happy to have you back here again soon.
'I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks to you and your colleagues for making Bradley and I feel so welcome at your school today. The children were a credit to you all in terms of their enthusiasm and behaviour.
When you hear of a primary school with so many pupils and staff it's easy to assume that it could have an impersonal feel about it. But your school feels very personal and warm, and the children clearly enjoy being there. I was also in awe of the facilities.
Needless to say, my first visit to Lee Chapel Primary was a very positive one and I hope it won't be the last time I visit.'
