Parliament Week
This week has been Parliament Week, the whole school have been learning more about how decisions are made and laws passed. The junior children have also been taking part in lot of debating sessions, learning how it is important to listen to everyone's viewpoint, before taking a vote.
To end the week we were delighted to welcome our local Member of Parliament, Stephen Metcalfe, who delivered assemblies for Years 1-6 answering some of their most thought provoking and important questions, such as what is it like to sit in the Houses of Parliament and what happens if MP's cannot come to a decision.
