Year 4 Mayans!

Year 4 had a fantastic time celebrating the end of their Mayan topic with an exciting Exit Afternoon! The children immersed themselves in the fascinating world of the Ancient Maya by tasting a selection of Mayan-inspired foods, discovering the flavours and ingredients that were enjoyed many years ago.

To make the afternoon even more memorable, the children were surprised by a special visit from a Mayan god! 

It was a wonderful way to celebrate all of the hard work and enthusiasm the children have shown throughout the topic. We are incredibly proud of how engaged, curious and respectful they were, making it a truly memorable end to their learning journey.
